NEW BOOK: DENMARK IN THAILAND 2008 - CELEBRATING 150 YEARS OF THAI-DANISH DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
In 1858, King Chulalongkorn visited Denmark for the first time! Thai Airways was started as a joint venture with SAS in 1949! And today there are more than 200 Danish companies established in Thailand. These are just some of the facts you can find in a new book that has been published by the Royal Danish Embassy in Bangkok to celebrate the 150 years anniversary of Danish-Thai diplomatic relations
The book will take you through the many aspects of the long lasting relations between the two countries – diplomatic, royal, cultural, commercial, in tourism and much more. In addition it is an instructive guide to the comparative advantages of Denmark and Danish business in the world today and it is used to promote Danish business in Thailand.
